2017 CWWH Graduate Conference Grant Competition

Thanks to a generous donation from 2015 WHA President Elizabeth Jameson, the Coalition for Western Women’s History is pleased to announce a CWWH-WHA Conference Grant. 2016 marks the first year the CWWH presented this award to a graduate student member who sought financial support to attend the WHA conference. This grant continues the Coalition’s commitment to supporting graduate students whose research and teaching interests in the history of the North American West engages in the analysis of women, gender, and sexuality.

The grant of $500 may be used for travel, registration, and lodging in St. Paul. The recipient will also receive a ticket to the CWWH Breakfast, where s/he/ze will receive the award.

 

 

Eligibility:
-Must be a CWWH graduate student member*
-Must be registered to attend the 2017 WHA Annual Meeting in San Diego (presence on the program is not required)

*(Please note that the CWWH is open to persons of all genders, sexualities, and races/ethnicities who seek to support and advance the scholarship on women, gender, and sexuality in the North American West.)
